Set of 3 Bowls by Uta Studio

€750.00

This trio of hand-carved bowls by Breno Caetano forms part of his Urushicum series, a body of work that brings together movement, craft, and material dialogue. Carved from solid beech wood, the three pieces are conceived as a set, each one unique yet connected through rhythm and gesture.

Their red exterior is coloured with Urucum pigment, a natural dye traditionally used by Amazonian tribes, while the interior is finished with Japanese ink and beeswax, deepening the oak’s tone and texture. The contrasting surfaces speak of balance and duality, between warmth and depth, stillness and motion.

Together, the three bowls create a sculptural composition that embodies Breno’s approach to form: fluid, tactile, and alive. They can be arranged freely, maintaining a sense of connection whether placed close or apart.

Each piece from Uta Studio is handmade in Brussels, guided by an intuitive process that honours both material and movement.

Condition: Each piece is handmade and unique, showing slight variations in shape, tone, and surface finish that are inherent to the making process.

Size: 28 cm x 16 cm x 5 cm (large) 24 cm x 11 cm x 5 cm (medium) 20 cm x 15 cm 5 cm (small).
