Double Bowl by Uta Studio

€325.00

This hand-carved double bowl by Breno Caetano belongs to the Urushicum series, which explores the relationship between gesture, material, and balance. The two connected forms mirror one another like a conversation in motion, joined at the centre by a sculpted bridge that invites the hand to hold and move the piece.

Carved from solid oak wood, the interior is finished in Japanese ink and Urucum pigment, drawing on Caetano’s dialogue between Japanese and Amazonian techniques. The surface finish enhances the wood’s natural grain and warmth while highlighting the artist’s sensitivity to rhythm and form.

Each piece from Uta Studio is handmade in Brussels, reflecting an intuitive process guided by movement and touch.

Size: 43 cm x 17 cm x 4 cm

Condition: Excellent. Each piece is handmade and unique, showing slight variations in shape, tone, and surface finish that are inherent to the making process.
