Set of 3 Hand Trays by Uta Studio

€235.00

This hand-carved tray by Breno Caetano forms part of his Urushicum series, which explores the meeting point between gesture, craft, and material. Designed to rest naturally in the palm, it can be held with the index finger between its two curved points, creating a direct connection between object and movement.

Carved from solid oak wood, the tray is finished with Japanese ink and beeswax, which enhance the natural grain and texture of the wood while allowing it to breathe. Its dark surface carries both depth and softness, echoing Breno’s approach to balance and rhythm in form.

Each piece from Uta Studio is made entirely by hand in Brussels, guided by intuition and respect for the material.

Size: 18 cm x 10 cm x 3 cm (each)

Condition: Excellent. Each piece is handmade and unique, showing slight variations in shape, tone, and surface finish that are inherent to the making process.
